Peter Bourne

Executive Director

Peter is a Director and Chief Operating Officer of Capital International (Jersey) Limited (formerly Martello Asset Management Limited), having joined in 2019. As COO, he is responsible for delivering the operating platform for Jersey and also represents the business on various Company and Group Investment Committees.

He has broad leadership experience in the investment management industry in both discretionary portfolio management and fund management. Peter was previously Managing Director of Ashburton Investments (Jersey).Prior to that, he headed up a successful portfolio management business for a leading South African private bank in Johannesburg.

He is a Chartered Member of the Institute for Securities & Investment (UK) and holds the Certificate in Company Direction from the Institute of Directors. He is a member of the Jersey Compliance Officers Association.

Outside of work, Peter is a regular social runner, enjoying an active lifestyle with family and friends.
